Mamalode Content Assignment Agreement

Thank you for being a part of the Mamalode community of authors and creators.  Through your contribution and submissions from other moms, dads, kids, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends together we have created a special collection of parenting stories.

At Mamalode, truth and transparency is at the core of all we do - this value allows us to bring our readers authentic, genuine stories of parenthood. So we want to make sure you understand what it means when we publish your content.  The following is a content assignment agreement (“Agreement”) between you and Mamalode, LLC.  When we use the word “content” in this Agreement we are referring to anything that has been submitted by you and published on any form of Mamalode media (website, print, social, etc.) including written works, videos, or photographs. 

When you submit content to us and it is published on any Mamalode media, you assign, transfer, and convey to Mamalode the entire right, title, and interest in and to the content, including to any and all copyrights in the content (and any derivative works) that may arise or may be granted in the United States or any other country.  In addition, by submitting content you represent and warrant that (i) you have all necessary rights in the content to make this assignment (including any necessary permissions, if applicable, regarding the subject(s) in any photo or video content), and (ii) the content is an original creation and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.) You also agree to cooperate with Mamalode in perfecting the rights that you are granting to Mamalode.  This Agreement will also extend to and benefit any of Mamalode’s successors or assigns. 

We understand that you may want to continue to use your content for your own personal uses even after submission to Mamalode, or that you may have already posted the content elsewhere before submitting to Mamalode. Without limiting the copyright assignment described above, Mamalode agrees that you may continue to use your content for personal, non-commercial purposes (for example, posting on your own blogs or social media accounts) and that any uses of the content that preceded its publication by Mamalode may continue.
